Magdalen’s Preschool’s 4 year old program is a 3, 4, or 5 day a week class operating from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. daily Monday – Friday (with the opportunity to add our Extended Day Program). Our primary goal in the 4 year old classroom is to prepare and introduce critical skills necessary for Early 5’s, junior kindergarten and/or kindergarten. We strive to make the transition as seamless as possible.
Our 4 year old program encourages the development of the whole child. We focus on the physical, social, emotional, cognitive growth and development of each student using Teaching Strategies Gold (Creative Curriculum). The students utilize a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and manipulatives to achieve these goals.
Our 4 year old program provides a developmental checklist which includes the following areas:

- Mathematics
- Science
- Letter Recognition
